Vikings Honored at Winter Banquet

On Tuesday March 3rd, Omaha North recognized the letter winners for the winter sports season.  Those teams honored were boys basketball, girls basketball, boys and girls swimming, and boys wrestling.  Congratulations to all of the seniors and letter winners from these sports. Vikings Announce Head Boys Basketball Coach

Omaha North has announced the hiring of Thomas Liechti as the new varsity boys basketball coach.  Liechti will replace Jared Anderson as the Vikings varsity head coach. Mr. Liechti is currently the head of Omaha Elite AAU basketball organization.  He is currently on the Vikings football staff and has been since 2013.  Liechti was also

Basketball Postseason Honors Announced

The Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star have announced their basketball awards for the past season.  Dariauna Lewis led the way for the Vikings, being named to the LJS Super State First Team and the OWH All Nebraska First Team.  See below for the full list of recipients. Boys Basketball Postseason Honors

After a successful boys basketball season, several players were honored by the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star for their efforts.  Seniors Anthony Laravie, Jordan Nash, and DJ Kitt all picked up honors. Anthony Laravie was selected by the OWH for its All-Metro Third Team, and its All-Nebraska Class A Honorable Mention.  The LJS

Boys Basketball Districts

The NSAA has released the Class A boys basketball district pairings.  Omaha North beat Bellevue East last Saturday night.  The Vikings will play at Central High this Tuesday in the A5 championship game.   See the bracket below.
