Vikings Swimmer signs with Loyola

The largest number of qualifiers since 2008 from Omaha North represented the Vikings at the NSAA State Swimming Championships, February 23-24 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.  Vienne Kemper capped her 9th grade season by being the first Viking girl to swim in an event final since 2003, earning 8th place in the 200 Individual


VIKINGS SWIMMERS QUALIFY FOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS For the first time in a decade, the Vikings qualified individuals and relay teams from both the boys’ and girls’ swimming teams for the Nebraska Schools Activities Association State Swimming Championships.  The preliminaries and championship races will be held Friday and Saturday, February 23-24, at the Bob Devaney Sports

Metro Conference Swimming Championships

Both the Vikings’ boys and girls teams placed 11th out of 16 teams at the 2018 Metropolitan High School Conference Championships on Saturday, February 10 held at Millard West High School.  Junior Liam Murray led the Vikings boys’ team with an 8th place finish in the 50 Freestyle and 10th place in the 100 Freestyle.

Swimming Results: Bellevue East Invite

BELLEVUE EAST INVITE RECAP Three Vikings’ girls’ swimmers won individual events and all three girls’ relays placed second, leading the Vikings girls to a 2nd place team finish at the 7-team Bellevue East Chieftain Invitational on Saturday, February 3.  Ann Fox captured her first invitational individual event victory of the season by touching the wall
